Flight Arrangements
We recommend that you use a travel agent who specializes in Africa travel, as well as in arrangements required for hunters. Rhuma Ranch meets and collects all clients from OR Tambo International Airport.
Passports / Visas
South Africa requires no visa, but does require a passport.

Firearms & Ammunition
Bring a bolt action or a double rifle. For Buffalo, we recommend a caliber 375 or higher. For Antelopes and medium game, we recommend a caliber of 300 or 30-06. For dangerous game, we recommend 40 full metal-jacket cartridges and 40 soft-point cartridges. Bring a soft case for your firearm for use in transportation between hunting destinations.
Bow Hunting
Bow hunting is welcomed by Rhuma Ranch. Please let us know prior to arrival if you intend on using a bow. No permit is required.
